Adult Intensive Program
Summer 2024
City Ballet’s Adult Intensive is designed specifically for adults with a passion for ballet. The program offers three weeks of classes and rehearsals, under the direction of Steven and Elizabeth Wistrich, culminating with a performance.

Beginning Level
Minimum of one year of training required
Tuesdays:
7:00pm to 8:30pm: Technique
8:30pm to 9:30pm: Rehearsal
Thursdays:
7:00pm to 8:30pm: Technique
8:30pm to 9:30pm: Rehearsal
Saturdays:
11:00am – 12:30pm: Technique
12:30 – 1:30pm: Pilates
1:30 – 2:00pm: Lunch Break
2:00 – 5:00pm: Rehearsal
Sundays:
10:00 – 11:30am: Technique
11:30am – 12:00pm: Lunch Break
12:00 – 1:00pm: Pilates
1:00 – 4:00pm: Rehearsal
Intermediate / Advanced Level
Tuesdays:
7:00pm to 8:30pm: Technique
8:30pm to 9:30pm: Rehearsal
Thursdays:
7:00pm to 8:30pm: Technique

Saturdays:
11:00am to 12:30pm: Technique
12:30pm to 1:30pm: Pointe

Sundays:
10:00am to 11:30am: Technique
11:30am to 12:00pm: Lunch Break
12:00pm to 1:00pm: Pointe
1:00pm to 4:00pm: Rehearsal
Ballet Attire
Women
Classes: Leotard – any color and style, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, optional short Georgette chiffon skirt.
Performance: Black leotard, any style, preferably camisole/tank.
Hair neatly pulled back, preferably in a bun
Men
Black tights or shorts, dance belt, t-shirt any color, ballet shoes (white or black)
Longer hairstyles should be pulled back off the face.
For the Pilates based Body Conditioning class each student will need a Yoga mat and socks.
Performance
In-Studio Performance for all students in the Intensive Program.

Tuition
Tuition includes all classes, rehearsals, performance, additional costumes for the performance, video link of the performance and four complementary tickets to the performance.
Beginning Level: $650
Intermediate / Advanced: $750
Registration
Space is filled on a first come, first served bases. A limited number of students may be enrolled for Adult Intensive.
