Elizabeth Fittro is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio where she trained with the Otto M. Budig Academy of Cincinnati Ballet. She graduated from Indiana University in 2011 with a degree in Ballet Performance and Political Science. While at IU, she performed roles in Antony Tudor’s Lilac Garden, Twyla Tharp’s Noir and George Balanchine’s Rubies and Who Cares? Elizabeth joined Nashville Ballet’s Second Company where she performed in Main Company shows and community outreach performances. In 2012, Elizabeth joined the Ballet Theatre of Maryland in Annapolis, MD. Under the direction of Dianna Cuatto, where she was featured as a soloist in Antony Tudor’s Continuo a Little Swan and the Italian Princess in Swan Lake; the Emerald Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty; and Clara in The Nutcracker.Looking for a new adventure, Elizabeth moved from coast to coast to join City Ballet in 2017. Last season she performed in the company’s productions of Serenade, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Carmina Burana and the female lead in Elizbeth Wistrich’s Samuel Barber Adagio.
