Tiffany Arroyo was exposed to the world of dance in the form of hula which lead to her interest in ballet. As a professional hula dancer for Na Hoa O Ka Hale Kanu (Aloha Hula), she has performed in many events showcasing the art of the traditional Hawaiian dance. Tiffany trained under the direction of Cecilia Hering at the Redlands School of International Ballet and Glenda Cahart at Riverside Ballet Arts where she performed in David Allan’s “The Nutcracker”. She attended American Ballet Theatre and San Francisco Ballet summer intensive programs in California. She graduated high school from the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) in 2012 as a Classical and Contemporary dancer. At OCSA she performed in “Le Corsaire” as one of the three Odalisque (soloist), and “La Sylphide” as La Sylphide (principal role). In August 2015, Tiffany performed as a Principal Dancer for the Redlands Dance Theatre (RDT)’s ‘Nutcracker’, under the direction of David King. In 2017, She graduated from University of California, Irvine with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Dance. This is Tiffany’s first season with City Ballet of San Diego as a company member after being an apprentice for two seasons. She has performed in The Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Mozart’s Requiem, Carmina Burana, and four Pair. She has also been featured in works by George Balanchine including Serenade, Rubies, The Four Temperaments, and Apollo as Calliope.
