Kimberly Green, a native of the Chicago area, started her serious dance training with Performing Arts of Spring Grove, under the direction of Alyce Keaggy Brinkmann. Kimberly attended summer intensives with the Moscow Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, and the Houston Ballet, all under scholarship. She danced two seasons with Houston Ballet II, under the Direction of Claudio Munoz and Stanton Welch. While there she also danced with Houston Ballet’s main company in Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Madame Butterfly, Cinderella, and Don Quixote. After a three-year break, Kimberly re-started her dance career with City Ballet of San Diego as an apprentice in 2012, and then as a company member. She has performed in the company’s productions of The Nutcracker, Giselle, The Seasons, Carmina Burana, Swan Lake, Requiem, C-Squared, Don Quixote, Requiem, Romeo and Juliet, Carmen, The Firebird, as well as, Geoffrey Gonzalez’s Infinitus Terminus, Treatment, Esmeralda and the Hunchback, Seasons, Tchai Celebration and George Balanchine’s Emeralds, Serenade, The Four Temperaments, La Source, Walpurgisnacht Ballet, Concerto Barocco, Rubies, Apollo, and Peter Martins’ Hallelujah Junction and Ash. Kimberly is also a licensed massage therapist and a teacher at the City Ballet School.
