Mood and Music of the Roaring '20s!
Enjoy Bootleg Bubbly generously provided by Magner's Irish Cider and delicious hors d'oeuvres at our reception and silent auction. A multi-course dinner will be accompanied by the live music of The Mighty Untouchables dance band. Entertainment features City Ballet dancers and after-dinner dancing.

Gala Supports Education Programs
Each year, City Ballet budgets over $175,000 for our education programs. Proceeds from The Nutcracker Gala help ensure City Ballet continues to touch the lives of over 10,000 local children through ballet education. City Ballet's Education Programs include:
Discover a Dancer
Discover a Dancer offers free year-round ballet instruction for disadvantaged children and youth at risk. Currently two programs are conducted in City Heights, one of San Diego's under-served neighborhoods.

Ballet Goes to School offers a complete ballet education package for school children, including in-theater performances and informative, 40-minute in-school assemblies.
