Performances for School-Aged Children City Ballet offers special performances for school children. This is a great way to introduce children to ballet in a formal theater setting. Teachers are provided with a teacher's guide structured around the State of California Department of Education's challenge standards. Friday, November 2, 2007The FirebirdIgor Stravinsky's score brings to life the Russian story of a mystical bird that saves fair maidens from an evil magician. Also on the program is the comical and delightful Stravinsky Suites. Choreography by City Ballet resident choreographer Elizabeth Wistrich.
