Daniel Salvador

Daniel Salvador began dancing at the age of 15 under the direction of Kathryn Scarano.  Daniel attended several summer programs to augment his training, including Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and Pacific Northwest Ballet.  He completed his training as a full scholarship student with Pacific Northwest Ballet's professional division under Francia Russell.  He has performed with SD Prism Dance Theater, Inland Pacific Ballet, and Ballet Pacifica.  In the summer of 2005, Daniel participated in the National Choreographers Invitational, performing original works by Val Canaparoli and Bill Soesu.  Now in his fifth season with City Ballet, Daniel has been featured in Mozart Concerto, The Magic Flute, Enigma, Carmen, Strawfeet, Tchai Celebration, Stravinsky Pieces, Carmina Burana, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Leave the Light On, Ramona and George Balanchine's Rubies, Agon and The Four Temperaments.
