Megan Nichols began her training in her hometown of Mesa, Arizona under the direction of Constance Molde-Stine at Eastside Ballet. Megan augmented her training by attending summer programs at California Ballet, City Ballet of San Diego and the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia. At age 15, she was accepted into the Rock School's year-round dance and academic program where she continued her training on scholarship. After two seasons as an apprentice with City Ballet, Megan continues her second season as a full company member. Since joining City Ballet, she has performed in Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Carmina Burana, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Leave the Light On, Ramona, George Balachine's Serenade, Agon, The Four Temperaments and featured in the company's The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and The Seasons. |
