Caleigh Meyer

Caleigh Meyer was born in Murrieta, California where she began her training at an early age with Southern California Youth Ballet under the direction of Sylvia Palmer and Ahita Ardalan.  There she completed her Cecchetti exams with Honors.  To augment her training, she attended summer intensives at Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Arizona, Kaatsbann, Orlando Ballet and Boston Ballet.

At age sixteen, she moved to Boston to train with Boston Ballet on scholarship where she appeared in The Nutcracker and the Night of the Stars Gala.  She also took an active part in the Educational Outreach Programs helping children facing unfair challenges by getting the chance to dance.  Caleigh then joined Connecticut Ballet where she performed in Coppelia and other works.  This is her second season with City Ballet of San Diego.
