Angela Leone started her training in South Florida at Florida Arts and Dance, under the direction of Cecilia Serra, Titiana Djouloukhadze and Loretta Dodd. Angela also trained with Joan Miller at the Palm Beach Ballet Center. She then moved to Nashville as a scholarship student to train with Donna Delseni at the Nashville Ballet.
In 2009, Angela became an apprentice with City Ballet of San Diego and begins this season as a company member. Since coming to City Ballet, Angela has performed the Spanish lead in The Nutcracker, in George Balanchine's Valse Fantaisie, Rubies and Walpurgisnacht Ballet. She has also performed in the company's productions of Giselle, Peter Pan, Swan Lake, Tchai Celebration, Enigma and Carmen. |
