Emily Kirn

City Ballet Dance Artist

Emily Kirn, a native of Rock Island, IL, joined City Ballet in 2003.  She trained at The Alabama School of Fine Arts under Dame Sonia Arova, and was an apprentice at the Alabama Ballet.  She holds a BFA with honors from the New School Joffrey Ballet program in New York City.

While in New York, she trained with Eleanor D'Antuoro and David Howard.  She has appeared in David Howard's World Tour class video and on the cover of Dance Teacher Magazine.  Since joining City Ballet, she has been featured in Who Cares?, The Firebird, The Nutcracker and The Seasons. Emily is also the director of City Ballet II.
