Daniel Salvador

City Ballet Dance Artist

Daniel Salvador began dancing at the age of 15 under the direction of Kathryn Scarano.  Daniel attended several summer programs to augment his training, including Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and Pacific Northwest Ballet.  He completed his training as a full scholarship student with Pacific Northwest Ballet's professional division under Francia Russell.

He has performed with SD Prism Dance Theater, Inland Pacific Ballet, and Ballet Pacifica.  During his two seasons with Ballet Pacifica, Daniel danced in Robert Sund's Alice in Wonderland and the Cavalier in The Nutcracker.  In the summer of 2005, Daniel participated in the National Choreographers Invitational, performing original works by Val Canaparoli and Bill Soesu.  Now in his second season with City Ballet, Daniel also teaches in the City Ballet School.
