Alexis Risi

City Ballet Dance Artist

Alexis Risi hails from Seattle where she trained on full scholarship at Pacific Northwest Ballet.  She also attended several summer programs, such as Suzanne Farrell's Exploring Ballet at the Kennedy Center, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Hartford Ballet and Ballet West.  Alexis received a BFA at the University of Utah while performing with the University's ballet company, Utah Ballet.  During the 2001 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, Alexis had the opportunity to perform in the Medal Ceremonies.

Now in her fourth season with City Ballet, Alexis has danced in many of the company's productions, including featured roles in The Seasons, Midsummer Night's Dream and Balanchine's Apollo.
